Why am I serving a mission?

The Gospel of Jesus Christ has brought me so much joy in my life and I want to share is with others.  I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the true church of Jesus Christ, and He, our Savior, leads this church today through a living prophet. 

I have felt such indescribable, overwhelming feelings of joy in my heart and have seen too much to even deny it.  This church is true!  God really lives!  And through following God's plan, we can have great joy in this life and in the life to come.  

I am on a mission to teach people about this plan so they, too, can feel the joy, happiness and peace that I feel each day in my life.  It truly is marvelous and real! 

I love Jesus Christ and am so grateful for His infinite and eternal sacrifice.  I want to bring people to Him, and will give Him all that I have in this work.  I know it is true.  The scriptures, and even the earth itself and all the creations therein testify of this. It is true!
